Game Drive in Akagera National Park
Day 1: Transfer to Akagera National Park from Kigali.
after enjoying a delicious breakfast at your accommodation this morning, our safari guide will pick you up for your journey to Akagera National Park in the Eastern part to start your Days Akagera National Park . The drive from Kigali to the park takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes, depending on the number of stopovers made along the journey. As you travel through the picturesque and captivating landscapes, feel free to ask our driver guide to stop so you can take photos. On arrival at the national park, go on a short game drive, then later head to your accommodation for lunch.
Enjoy a boat ride in the afternoon on Lake Ihema. upon arrival, you will head to the boat to view the hippos and Rhinos along the lake shores. you will encounter elephants and buffaloes taking water at the water’s edge. after the boat ride, return to your booked accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2:Full Day Game Drive and transfer back to Kigali
Begin your day with an early breakfast before departing for a morning game drive in Akagera national park. The park will focus on spotting iconic wildlife such as giraffes, elephants,and the many antelope species as well as the recently introduced Rhinos and lions in the National Park. the park is also a birders haven due to the many bird species making it the best for bird enthusiast who visit Rwanda with over 490 bird species earning it a reputation as a birding paradise. we shall leave the lode with a packed lunch since the drive will last about 5 hours. the route will take you along the lake shore often providing an excellent view of variety of wildlife species in Akagera National Park.
After the game drive, you will embark on your journey back to Kigali depending on your plans where you will be dropped off to either your hotel or airport for your flight.
