Day 1 kicks off your adventure: You transfer directly from Kampala to the magnificent Murchison Falls National Park. The next day, Day 2, you will fully immerse yourself in Murchison’s beauty: First, enjoy an exhilarating game drive to spot diverse wildlife. Afterward, you’ll take a serene Nile Boat Cruise, getting up close to the aquatic life. Finally, hike to the Top of the Falls for a breathtaking view of the Nile’s power.
Then, on Day 3, you transfer to Hoima, making a unique stop to explore the historic Kibiro Salt Gardens en route. Following this, Day 4 sees you transfer further west to the spectacular Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 5 is dedicated to Queen Elizabeth’s wonders: First, you take a thrilling morning game drive across the savanna. Later, you experience the park’s famous Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise, known for its dense concentration of hippos and birds. Next, on Day 6, you transfer to the tranquil Lake Bunyonyi, enjoying a final en-route game drive as you exit Queen Elizabeth.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala To Murchison Falls
our incredible Uganda safari begins immediately upon airport pickup. You will drive north to commence your journey toward the majestic Murchison Falls National Park.
Crucially, along the way, you make a vital stop at the famous Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Here, you get the unique chance to trek on foot and meet the magnificent rhino, one of Africa’s Big Five game animals, ensuring a full Big Five experience on your safari.
Thereafter, you pause for a well-deserved lunch break and an opportunity to stretch your legs. Next, you continue your scenic drive straight to Murchison Falls National Park, enjoying stunning landscapes throughout the remainder of the journey. You will arrive in the late evening, allowing you to check in to your safari lodge for relaxation, dinner, and a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 2: Game drive, Boat cruise & Hiking, Top of the falls
Wake up to a delicious breakfast. you will begin an exhilarating game drive through the northern section of the park, which offers the best opportunities to spot wildlife. Keep your camera ready to find magnificent animals like Rothschild giraffes, Elephants, Buffaloes, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Kobs, lions, leopards, and waterbucks, among many others. This captivating drive lasts approximately three hours.
Next, you return to the lodge to relax and refresh. Later in the afternoon, prepare for a thrilling boat cruise. Setting off from the Paraa Jetty, this cruise takes you right to the bottom of the falls. Along the Nile River, you’ll have the chance to see aquatic animals and diverse bird species, culminating in the magnificent, up-close views of the spectacular Murchison Falls.
Immediately following the cruise, you disembark and hike up to the Top of the Falls. This challenging but rewarding ascent offers stunning, panoramic views that will absolutely blow you away! Capture unforgettable photos before your driver meets you at the top. Finally, you transfer back to your lodge for a well-deserved evening of relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer To Hoima With a Visit To Kibiro Salt Gardens

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, you will immediately head out to the fascinating Kibiro Salt Gardens. This unique site has sustained generations of local inhabitants, who rely heavily on the salt for their survival.
First, prepare for an invigorating hiking challenge. Here, take the footpath down to the gardens to explore this ancient trade and extraction process. You will discover firsthand how the local community has managed this resource for centuries.
Next, you will enjoy lunch in the nearby area. Finally, you transfer back to your lodge for a well-deserved evening of relaxation, dinner, and a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 4: Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park
Start your day with an early breakfast; then, you will transfer immediately toward the famed Queen Elizabeth National Park.
First, you will drive through impressive landscapes, passing the towns of Kyenjojo and Kagadi on your journey. Upon reaching Fort Portal town, you will stop to enjoy a relaxing lunch.
Next, you will proceed for a unique Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary walk. This provides ideal ecotourism encounters and a chance to spot primates and rare birds. Following this enriching experience, you transfer directly to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Finally, you will arrive for check-in at your lodge, followed by dinner and an adventurous overnight camping experience under the African sky.

Day 5: Game Drive & Kazinga boat cruise
Your exciting day begins with an early morning game drive after breakfast!
First, you set off to the famous Kasenyi region, known for its dense wildlife, ensuring an incredible encounter. Here, you will actively search for a range of wild game, including Elephants, Uganda Kobs, Waterbucks, Buffaloes, Lions, Spotted Hyenas, leopards, and Bushbucks. Additionally, keep an eye out for diverse bird species like the African White-backed Vulture. Hooded Vulture, Bateleur, Martial Eagle, and the Long-created Eagle.
Next, you head back to the lodge for a delicious lunch and brief relaxation.
Then, at 2 PM, your adventure continues with a thrilling two-hour afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This unique encounter allows you to view aquatic life up close, primarily enormous Hippos, Nile crocodiles, and an abundance of bird species such as the African skimmer, Yellow-billed stork, and various Kingfishers. You may even spot other wild game drinking along the banks!
Finally, you return to the lodge for a relaxing evening, dinner, and an overnight camping experience under the stars.

Day 6: Transfer To Lake Bunyonyi
After enjoying breakfast, you will immediately embark on a scenic transfer to the stunning Lake Bunyonyi.
Crucially, along the way, you will take an exciting en-route game drive through the famous Ishasha sector in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Here, you will actively search for the legendary tree-climbing lions and other fantastic wildlife.
Next, you drive through the breathtaking, terraced slopes of the Kigezi Highlands, soaking in the fascinating mountainous landscape. Finally, you will arrive at Lake Bunyonyi in the evening for check-in at your lodge, followed by a delicious dinner and overnight camping experience beside the beautiful lake.

Day 7: Morning Boat cruise & Return To Kampala

First, embark immediately on a captivating boat cruise to fully explore the majestic waters of Lake Bunyonyi. Your guide will take you to visit one of the lake’s many islands, offering a unique chance to see firsthand how local communities live and thrive on this beautiful lake.
Next, following this enriching lake tour, you will begin the scenic transfer back to Kampala. You’ll enjoy lunch along the way while taking in the impressive countryside landscapes of southwestern Uganda.
Finally, upon reaching Kayabwe, you’ll make an important stop at the Equator for a refreshing stretch and memorable photos. You will then continue to Kampala, arriving late in the afternoon, which successfully marks the end of your safari adventure.
