Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival In Tanzania

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to Arusha for an overnight. Meal plan Bed & breakfast.

Day 2:Day Walking Tour In Marangu Route

After morning breakfast, drive to Marangu gate at 0800 hrs., which is 1800 m above sea level. After processing the permit, start a day walking tour at this Coca-Cola route through the Mountain rain forest to Mandara Hut, 2700m from sea level, for dinner and overnight stay.

It covers a distance of 7 km, which takes 3-4 hours. After lunch, start walking back to the main gate. Proceed to make a short visit to the waterfall and the traditional Ca tribe house. Visit old war hides. Late in the evening, start driving to Arusha for an overnight

Day 3: Transfer To Tarangire National Park

Day 4: Transfer To Serengeti

Depart from Tarangire to Serengeti National Park after breakfast via Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro. Stop by Oldupai Gorge, where the fossils of the first humans called Zinjanthropus were discovered by Dr. Lousy Leakey and Mary Leakey, while packed with your picnic lunch box. Continue with the afternoon game drive at this endless plain of the Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at Katikati tented lodge or Similar(C) or Seronera public campsite (B).

Day 5:Full Day Game Drive In Serengeti

After breakfast, we will embark on a full-day game drive through the Serengeti National Park. The park, which spans 14,763 square kilometers, is known as the “endless plains” and is home to a variety of animals, including lions, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos. Remember to bring your lunch boxes. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Katikati Tented Lodge or a similar accommodation (C) or Seronera Public Campsite (B).

Day 6: Transfer To Ngorongoro National Reserve

Early morning game drive at this endless plain while searching for early hunters. Drive to the camp for a late breakfast, then start driving to Ngorongoro while enjoying the game en route for an overnight. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro wildlife lodge or similar(C) or Ngorongoro Simba campsite.

Meal plan: Full Board.

Day 7: Ngorongoro And Transfer To Uganda

After breakfast, you’ll travel to the Ngorongoro Crater for a tour. This unique historical caldera is a place where people and animals coexist peacefully. You’ll have the chance to see wildlife such as lions, elephants, hippos, wildebeest, warthogs, and zebras, as well as visit Lake Magadi, Lerai Forest, and Ngoitokito swamp. Don’t forget your picnic lunch!

After lunch, you’ll drive to Arusha and then be transferred to the airport for your flight to Uganda. Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. You’ll have dinner and spend the night at either the Imperial Royale, Metropole Hotel, or The Lodge.

Day 8:Visit Murchison Falls National Park

Early morning, leave Entebbe driving Northwest through the famous Luwero Triangle. If you start early in the morning, it is possible to visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to see rhinos in the wild. Lunch in Masindi Hotel. Proceed to Murchison Falls National Park, the largest protected area in Uganda, with 3.840 km², named after the falls on the Victoria Nile, which divides the park into two sectors.

Relax a bit at a situated site on the top of the spectacular falls, where you can see the Nile’s perfected beauty and marvel as it compresses and squeezes itself from over 1 kilometer wide down through a seven-meter canyon. The 43-meter drop of the falls creates a thunderous roar and a beautiful rainbow in a plume of spray – the best of the Nile River. Dinner and overnight at Pakuba Safari Lodge.

Day 9: Boat Cruise On The Nile

Your day starts with an early morning game drive, traversing the Northern part of the park for a game drive to view and take photographs of elephants, buffalo, waterbucks, hippos, giraffes, Uganda kobs, lions, if you are lucky, the leopards, plus a variety of bird species.

After lunch, proceed for a two-hour cruise to the bottom of the mighty Murchison Falls. This is an opportunity to see the amazing hippos and crocodiles along the riverbanks. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Pakuba Safari Lodge.

Day 10: Drive to Fort Portal

In the early morning, you will leave Murchison Falls and drive southwest. The route takes you along the Albertine Escarpment of the Great Western Rift Valley, through Hoima, and to the vibrant town of Fort Portal. This town, the capital of the Tooro Kingdom, is nestled in the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains, also known as the “Mountains of the Moon.” You’ll be staying at either Primate Lodge, Mountains of the Moon Hotel, or Ataco Country Resort.

Day 11: Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park after breakfast. Have a game drive en route to the lodge. After lunch, enjoy the two-hour launch trip on Kazinga Channel for amazing birdlife and a variety of wildlife. An evening drive to the crater lakes region is rewarding. Dinner & overnight at Mweya safari lodge, Ihamba lodge, or Bush lodge.

Day 12: Chimpanzee Tracking In Kyambura Gorge

Enjoy an early morning cup of coffee before heading out for a game drive along the Kasenyi track and Queen’s Mile. You can expect to see a variety of animals and birds, including lions, elephants, buffalo, and warthogs. Afterward, you’ll return to the lodge for breakfast.

After lunch, you’ll drive to the Kyambura Gorge for a forest walk. The gorge is 16 km long and 100 meters deep, located in the Rift Valley. During the walk, you’ll search for habituated chimpanzees and other primates. The rangers will provide you with a walking stick for this trek. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at Mweya Safari Lodge

Day 13: Tree Climbing Lions In Ishasha Sector & Transfer To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, you’ll drive to the Ishasha sector of the park for a game drive. The main goal of this drive is to search for the famous climbing lions. You’ll have a packed lunch during the day. After the game drive, you’ll head to Bwindi for dinner and your overnight stay at either Mahogany Springs, Silverback Lodge, or Buhoma Community Camp.

Day 14: Encounter with The Endangered Mountain Gorillas

After an early breakfast and a briefing from your guides, you will embark on a Mountain Gorilla Trek in the Bwindi Forest. Remember to bring drinking water, a rain jacket, and sturdy jungle boots; the rangers will provide a walking stick. This is a unique opportunity to get up close, photograph, and observe the gorillas in their natural habitat.

Following the trek, you will return to the homestead for lunch. Afterward, you’ll take a scenic drive to Kabale, passing through beautiful terraced hills often referred to as the “Switzerland of Africa.” You’ll also get an incredible view of Lake Bunyonyi. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at either Bird Nest or Heritage Lodge.

Day 15: Visit Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast, you will take a two-hour boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi. The boat trip will take you to various islands where you can enjoy bird watching, sightseeing, and learning about the Bakiga culture. Afterward, you will drive to Entebbe, with lunch provided en route in Mbarara. You’ll also make a stop at the Equator for a photo opportunity.
