6 Days Wildlife Experience will give you a beautiful insight into Uganda‘s diverse wildlife and nature, including Africa’s Big Five( Leopards, lions, elephants, rhinos and African Buffalo). Uganda Reptile Village, Entebbe: Day 1
Upon your arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your guide. Check in your hotel, relax and have lunch. Afterwards, embark on your guided tour to Uganda Reptile Village, a home to over 50 reptile species. Here, you will get a golden opportunity to view the unique and diverse reptile species. Some of these include crocodiles, snakes, turtles, lizards, chameleons and so much more. Return to your hotel and prepare for the following day’s adventure.
Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife ranch: Day 2
Wake up early for a hearty breakfast and proceed towards northwestern Uganda to Ziwa Rhino and wildlife ranch in Nakasongola district. Proceed to the sanctuary and check in at your hotel where you’ll have lunch. Afterwards, hike to the Southern white rhino territory with your guide to view the rhinos in their natural habitat. This activity will take you about 1.5 to 2.5 hours. After this adventure, head back to your hotel for dinner and recharge for the next day.
Murchison Falls National Park: Day 3
Day 3 starts with a thrilling early morning experience of shoebill watching. Wake up very early and proceed to Lugogo swamp to view the shoe-bill as well as the beautiful sunset. Have breakfast at your hotel and check out. Proceed to Murchison Falls National Park and check in at your hotel where you’ll have lunch. Embark on your wildlife viewing adventure with a game drive in the northern sector of the national park.
This sector has the highest concentration of wildlife and you’ll get the chance to view various animals up-close. You’ll view wildlife such as lions, Rothschild giraffes, zebras, elephants, African Buffaloes, warthogs, Uganda kobs, oribi, waterbucks and so much more. Your game drive will lead you to a hike to the mighty Murchison falls, the most powerful waterfalls in the world. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and also view the Devil’s Cauldron as well as Baker’s point.
Chimpanzee tracking in Budongo Forest: Day 4
Transfer from your hotel to Budongo Forest for an experience of chimpanzee trekking. Your guide will brief you concerning this activity. Budongo is the largest mahogany forest in East Africa and home to chimpanzees, birds, butterfly and tree species. You’ll have an hour to observe the habituated chimpanzee families after tracking them. In addition, you’ll be able to view other primate species such as the white and black colobus monkey, olive baboon, red tailed monkeys and blue monkeys.
Zip lining Adventure: Day 5
Head to Sambiya River Lodge for the thrilling ziplining adventure. Ride over the forest canopy for breath-taking views and adrenaline rushes. This activity will give you a great and unique view of the falls and the different animal species. Afterwards, embark on the thrilling canopy walk for a fun experience, ideal for a group bonding. Have lunch at the lodge and prepare to depart back to Kampala with lots of beautiful memories.
Brief Heritage tour and Departure: Day 6
Spent your last safari day on a brief heritage tour in Kampala. Proceed to Mengo for insights into the history and culture of the Baganda at Kabaka’s Palace, as well as Uganda’s political history at the Torture Chambers. Have lunch at a local restaurant and proceed to Entebbe Airport for departure.
