Your incredible journey begins in Johannesburg, where you will immediately embark on an immersive half-day city tour. The following day, your scenic adventure takes you along the spectacular Panorama Route. Showcase dramatic viewpoints and breathtaking natural wonders before you spend the night at a comfortable lodge in Hoedspruit.
From there, the true safari experience continues as you dive deep into the iconic Kruger National Park. You will spend the remainder of your safari overnighting within the park’s traditional rest camps. This offers an authentic and truly immersive experience surrounded by Africa’s incredible wildlife.
Day 1: Arrival in Johannesburg
our South African adventure begins immediately upon landing at OR Tambo International Airport (JNB). You will be met by the guesthouse shuttle and transferred directly to your accommodation.
After checking in between 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM. A private driver/guide will collect you for an enriching half-day Johannesburg city tour. Following the insightful tour, you will be comfortably dropped off back at the guesthouse, allowing you to relax and unwind for the evening.
Day 2: Panorama Route Tour
Your journey begins with an early morning check-out. The guesthouse shuttle will transfer you to the OR Tambo Bus Terminal, where you will board your shuttle departing at 07:45 AM for the “Big Shoe” area.
Upon arrival, your private guide will welcome you to begin an unforgettable half-day Panorama Route tour. Along this spectacular route, you will visit all the major highlights. Making memorable stops at dramatic viewpoints like God’s Window, the Three Rondavels, and Bourke’s Luck Potholes. Later in the afternoon, you will check in to your comfortable lodge in Hoedspruit, where a delicious dinner will be served to conclude your day of scenic exploration.
Day 3: Safari in Kruger National Park
our true safari adventure begins with an early morning check-out from the lodge, and you will take a packed breakfast along to enjoy en route. From Hoedspruit, your private English-speaking nature guide will accompany you directly into the world-renowned Kruger National Park. The entire day will be dedicated to actively exploring this iconic reserve, famous for its vast landscapes, diverse ecosystems, and incredible wildlife encounters.
As you travel through different areas of the park. Your guide will share fascinating insights about the natural environment, the park’s rich history, and its unique conservation efforts. Later in the day, you will make your way to your authentic rest camp inside the park. You will check in and enjoy a relaxed evening completely surrounded by the magnificent sights and sounds of the African wilderness.
Day 4: Safari in Kruger National Park
Today is entirely dedicated to exploring the wonders of Kruger National Park! After an early start from your rest camp, you will spend the full day on guided game drives, actively traversing a variety of landscapes, from vast open savannas to lush riverine forests.
Since each area of the park offers something unique. Your experienced guide will ensure you make the most of the experience, sharing fascinating knowledge about the park’s diverse ecosystems, natural history, and ongoing conservation work.
You will stop at designated rest areas during the day for meals and refreshments. Before continuing your journey through this remarkable wilderness. As evening approaches, you will return to your rest camp. Allowing you to relax and soak in the tranquil atmosphere of being inside one of Africa’s greatest national parks.
Day 5: Last day of Safari
On your final morning in Kruger National Park. You can choose to enjoy one last exciting game drive or simply take in the peaceful atmosphere of the rest camp before checking out.
After a satisfying breakfast, you will begin your journey back to Johannesburg. Providing ample time to reflect on the unforgettable experiences and breathtaking landscapes of your safari. Upon arrival in Johannesburg, we will ensure you are smoothly transferred to OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) for your onward travel.
