The 7 Day Trip begins with a safari in Tarangire National Park in Tanzania, famous for its large elephant herds and majestic baobab trees. Next, you’ll venture into the vast plains of the Serengeti, renowned for the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra. Safari days are filled with game drives, spotting the “Big Five” and other wildlife. The adventure concludes with a flight to Zanzibar, an island paradise where you can relax on white-sand beaches, swim in turquoise waters, and explore the historic Stone Town. Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Tarangire National Park
From Arusha, your driver guide will pick you up early in the morning and drive you to Tarangire National Park to start your 7-Day Tanzania Wildlife & Beach Holiday. Arrive in the park and proceed for a short game viewing safari. Drive to your booked lodge at the park and check in. And there after, you will be served lunch at the lodge.
After lunch, embark on an afternoon Game drive in Tarangire National Park. Explore the park, enjoy the stunning scenery of the rolling plains dotted with acacia trees and the giant baobab trees, creating one of the most scenic environments for wildlife watching and photography. After your breathtaking adventure in the park, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: morning Game drive And Transfer to Serengeti National Park
Today you will wake up early in the morning and have breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, you will be led out for a short game drive in Tarangire to spot more wildlife, including those you might have missed during the previous game drive. Look out for various wildlife species, but keep an eye out for the famous African big five animals (lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, and elephant). For keen birders, there are opportunities to spot various resident birdlife during your game drive.
After your morning recap game drive, you’ll return to your Camp for relaxation and a hefty meal. After lunch at the Camp, you will check out and embark on a transfer to Serengeti National Park for your next adventure. Arrive in Serengeti in the evening and have an en-route drive to your lodge.
Day 3: Full Day Game Drive In The Park
On this day, after breakfast at your lodge, you’ll head out with a packed lunch for a full day of game driving in the Serengeti National Park. During the game drive, you’ll be able to see a vast number of animals in the park, like Cheetah, zebra, spotted hyena, and antelope.
As the day draws to a close, embark on a thrilling sunset safari to witness the golden light through the rolling savannahs of Serengeti whilst casting a long shadow across the beautiful landscape. You will have plenty of opportunities to take beautiful photographs of both wildlife and amazing sunsets. As the day transform into night, you’ll return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Fly To Zanzibar
Upon arriving in Zanzibar, you’ll check into your hotel to settle in and get ready to unwind and begin your relaxation. Get ready to discover a tropical paradise with pristine beaches, turquoise waters, and a rich history. Explore Stone Town’s winding alleys, savor spicy flavors, and unwind in luxurious resorts, creating unforgettable memories on this idyllic island escape.
Day 5-6: Explore Zanzibar
Your fifth day starts with a tasty breakfast, and thereafter you shall embark on a “Spice Tour” to a local farm. See, smell, and taste the exotic spices that give Zanzibar its nickname. After an afternoon lunch meal, you will then head over to relax on one of Zanzibar’s famous white-sand beaches, like Nungwi or Kendwa. Enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and a variety of water sports. As the day goes by, you will conclude your day at a beachfront dinner with your toes in the sand. On the morning of day 6, after your breakfast, get ready to immerse yourself in the history of Stone Town. Take a guided walking tour through the UNESCO-listed Old Town, exploring the intricate alleys, historic sites like the Old Fort and the House of Wonders, and the bustling Darajani Market. In the afternoon, you will board a traditional dhow to Prison Island. Discover the giant tortoises and the island’s history before snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters. The evening will conclude your trip by enjoying a sunset dhow cruise and a delicious seafood dinner at the vibrant Forodhani Gardens night market.
Day 7: Departure
After your breakfast, you will be escorted to the airport by your driver guide to catch your flight.
