Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kenya
On the first day of your 8 Days Kenya budget safari, you will arrive in Nairobi, where you will be met at the airport by your driver guide. Your driver-guide will then transfer you to your hotel. After checking in at your hotel, you can choose to embark on various safari activities within Nairobi City. You can visit the world-famous David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust or go for a walk in the Karura Forest. After your city adventure in Nairobi, you will be transferred back to your hotel for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer From Nairobi To Sweetwaters & Pajeta Conservancy
Have breakfast and drive northwards towards Mount Kenya to Sweetwaters & Ol Pejeta Conservancy. You will spend the whole afternoon visiting rescued chimpanzees at Sweetwaters Game Ranch.
The Sweetwater Game Ranch is located inside the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to rescued chimpanzees. This is the only place in Kenya that rehabilitates chimpanzees, and there are up to 40 chimpanzees found in the ranch.
The Sweetwaters chimps are split into two groups separated by the Ewaso Nyiro River. You will have the opportunity to see these creatures in an environment that is nearly related to their natural habitat.
Besides Chimpanzees, the Ol Pejeta Conservancy is also dedicated to black rhino breeding, making it one of the few places to see the endangered rhinoceros.
You will spend your evening at a tented camp, where you will have dinner and an overnight stay

Day 3:Transfer To Lake Nakuru
Today after breakfast, you will leave Sweetwaters and head for Lake Nakuru National Park. You will enjoy scenic countryside views during your transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park, where you will arrive at lunchtime. You will check in at your lodge, have lunch, and take a short rest. After your short rest, you will go for an evening game drive in the park.
Lake Nakuru National Park is named after ‘‘Lake Nakuru’’- a soda lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley that covers most of this safari Park. The Lake is rich in birdlife and home to different species, especially water birds and Flamingos.
Lake Nakuru is renowned for its millions of lesser flamingos that flock to the lake shores, creating a unique and stunning array of birdlife you can ever witness on a Kenya or African Safari. The sight of millions of lesser flamingos that make the lake appear ringed in pink is spectacular – one to last for a lifetime.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru To Hell’s Gate National Park
You will wake up and have breakfast at your lodge before we embark on a transfer to Lake Naivasha. Upon reaching Lake Naivasha, you will visit the nearby Hell’s Gate National Park for both scenic landscape views and wildlife sightseeing.
Hell’s Gate National Park is popular for its diverse topography and stunning geological scenery, including lower cliffs and geothermal spas. The Landscape here is unique and captivating. While here, you can embark on a walking safari or cycling adventure.
The park is home to some amazing wildlife species such as African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson’s gazelle, baboon, and over 100 bird species, including vulture, Verreaux’s eagle, augur buzzards, and swifts. The Rare lammergeier vultures, as well as Chandler’s Mountain reedbuck and klipspringer antelope, can also be spotted in Hell’s Gate National Park during Safaris.
After an amazing adventure, we will drive to one of two comfortable safari lodges near Lake Naivasha for a tasty meal and a laid-back evening.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha To Masai Mara
Have a heavy breakfast early in the morning and relax. After, embark on a drive to Kenya’s Renowned Masai Mara National Reserve for your next adventure on the 8 Days Budget Kenya Safari
Set off for the world-famous Masai Mara National Park, the highlight of many a Kenya Safari itinerary. During your journey, you will travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley where you will enjoy a beautiful landscape. We will arrive in Masai Mara at around 13:00 hours, check in at your Camp, have lunch, and have a short relaxation. After your relaxation, embark on a thrilling evening game drive in Masai Mara.
Masai Mara National Reserve is Kenya’s most popular safari destination and a must-visit for those looking for a wildlife viewing experience. This Reserve is an unfenced wilderness area that stretch over more than 1500 km², teeming with large numbers of wildlife all year round. Masai Mara is renowned for wildlife viewing. The Reserve is home to lions, leopards, buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, antelopes, giraffes, and hyenas, among others.
This National Reserve is also home to one of the seven natural wonders, the Great Wildebeest Migration. The wildebeest migration in Masai Mara sees over 1.5 million wildebeest migrating from Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park into Masai Mara National Reserve. you will see the dramatic river crossing. After an exciting adventure in the Mara, you will drive to your lodge for a relaxing dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Cultural encounter in the Masai village
On Day 6 of your Mara safari, a captivating cultural encounter in a Maasai village awaits. You’ll witness traditional dances, learn about their pastoralist lifestyle, and discover the significance of their vibrant attire and intricate beadwork. This immersive experience offers a profound insight into the Maasai people’s rich heritage and daily customs

Day 7: Full Day Masai Mara Wildlife Experience
Today you will spend your day exploring the Mara plains where you can witness the great wildebeest migration. We go in search of the Big Five African animals (lion, leopard, Buffalo, elephants, and Rhinos). The best time for sighting the great wildebeest Migration is from July to October, where it coincides with the spectacular river crossings. You can also embark on an optional balloon safari. After your adventure in the Mara, you will drive back to your safari camp where dinner will be served.
Day 8:Transfer Back To Nairobi
After breakfast at your Camp, we will exit Masai Mara with your packed lunch and drive back to Nairobi. We will arrive in the afternoon and head straight to the famous Giraffe Centre in Nairobi. At the Giraffe Center, you will have the chance to feed the giraffes by hand. In the evening, you will enjoy dinner at the renowned Carnivore restaurant.
After dinner, you will be dropped off at the airport for your onward flight or at your preferred drop-off point.
