You will spend four exhilarating nights on safari in the prestigious Greater Kruger area: two nights immersing yourselves in the Timbavati Reserve and another two nights in the renowned Sabi Sand Reserve, famous for leopard sightings. Following your bush adventure, you will then travel to and stay for three unforgettable nights in Cape Town, offering the perfect balance of raw wilderness and cosmopolitan charm.
Day 1-2: Timbavati Game Reserve
our unforgettable safari begins immediately! You will be met at Hoedspruit Airport (HDS) and transferred seamlessly by road to the prestigious Timbavati Game Reserve (approx. 1 hour transfer). The Timbavati forms a crucial part of the 2-million-hectare Greater Kruger and shares an unfenced boundary with Kruger National Park itself.
Immersive Game Viewing
You will track the Big Five and other magnificent game on exhilarating open 4×4 game viewing vehicles throughout the day, evening, and into the night. You will always be in the experienced company of an armed ranger and a local Shangaan tracker, enhancing your tracking success.
Bird viewing is spectacular, too, with over 360 recorded species including various eagles, kingfishers, and buzzards. The Timbavati is also famously home to the world-renowned “White Lions of Timbavati.” Furthermore, at most lodges, you can join thrilling safari walks with an armed guide, making this a truly immersive game viewing experience.
Day 3-4: Sabi Sand Game Reserve
You will be transferred by road southwards from the Timbavati to the internationally acclaimed Sabi Sand Reserve (approximately 3 hours). As part of the Greater Kruger National Park, the Sabi Sand remains unfenced, meaning wildlife can cross freely, enhancing your viewing opportunities.

Close encounters are virtually guaranteed here because sound conservation management policies mean the animals are not threatened by the presence of vehicles. Day 5-7: Cape Town
our journey transitions from the bush to the city! You will be transferred by road from the Sabi Sand Reserve to Nelspruit Airport (MQP) for your flight to Cape Town (CPT). Upon your arrival at Cape Town Airport, you will be met and swiftly transferred to your hotel.

Day 8: Departure
Today, your incredible journey concludes. You will be transferred from your Cape Town hotel to Cape Town International Airport (CPT) (approximately 35 minutes) for your flight home.
