Arrival at Entebbe: Day 1

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport where you’ll be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your accommodation facility. 

Entebbe to Kibale National Park: Day 2

Wake up to a hearty breakfast and panoramic views of Lake Victoria. Transfer towards Western Uganda to Kibale National Park in a drive that is approximately 5 hours. Have lunch en route in Fort Portal City. Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the scenic Rwenzori Mountains hence rewarding travelers with great views. Continue to Kibale National Park for dinner and the overnight.

Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Village: Day 3

Day 3 starts with an incredible chimpanzee tracking experience. Kibale Forest is commended for having a great variety and the highest concentration of primates in East Africa, most especially the chimpanzees. Kibale has over 120 chimpanzees hence guaranteeing an unforgettable experience. After a briefing with your guide, you’ll hike into the forest, following the footsteps of the chimpanzee family until you locate them. Once you spot the chimps, you’ll be allowed to stay with them for one hour, observing their daily life activities. During this time, you are likely to observe them grooming, growling, feeding, using or taking care of the young ones. You may also be lucky to observe their exceptional skills in tool use such as using rocks to crack nuts. Return to your hotel for lunch and relaxation.

In the late afternoon, proceed to Bigodi Village for a cultural heritage experience. A local guide will accompany you on this adventurous community walk, bringing you closer to the Batooro, the native people of the area. The guide will teach you more about the traditional practices and ways of life of these indigenous people. On your way, you might find various bird species such as the blue breasted Kingfisher, piled hornbill, weavers or the black billed turaco. Return to your hotel for dinner and the overnight.

Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park: Day 4

After an early breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a wildlife experience. Enjoy the vast Savanna plains on a game drive in the Ishasha sector, with incredible sightings of the tree-climbing lions. Enjoy picnic lunch, preparing for the fascinating boat cruise.

Head out for a boat cruise at the Kazinga Channel to have close-up views of the various wildlife in this sector. The Kazinga Channel is the joining point for Lake Edward and Lake George. It has the highest concentration of hippos in Uganda. While on the boat cruise, you’ll not only sight hippos, but also Crocodiles, elephants, waterbucks, warthogs, elands, oribi and so much more. Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for the overnight.

Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park: Day 5

The adventurous Day 5 starts with a pre-trekking briefing from a well-trained guide. Bwindi National Park is home to half of the world’s population of mountain gorillas. This makes it a very favorable destination for enjoying these primates from a close distance. You’ll hike into the impenetrable forest in search for the mountain gorillas. Once you locate them, you’ll have one hour with them observing their do-to-day ways of life. However, the hike requires an average degree of fitness and sturdy shoes since rainy conditions make the area muddy.

Bwindi Impenetrable to Lake Mburo National Park: Day 6

You will transfer from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park after breakfast to Lake Mburo National Park for an unforgettable wildlife safari. Have lunch en route and continue to the park, by-passing the Nshara Government ranch where Ankole long-horned cattle graze alongside herds of Zebras. After a long drive of about 6 hours, check in at your hotel for relaxation. You will spend the rest of the day at leisure. Have dinner and the overnight at the hotel.

Bush Walk and Departure at Entebbe Airport: Day 7

Day 7 starts with an exciting bush walk, a safari on foot! Head into the savanna with a guide to enjoy sightings of herds of zebras, impalas, impalas and so much more. Return to the hotel for breakfast and depart the park with a game drive. On your way to Entebbe Airport, you will stop over at the Equator and later make time for souvenir shopping and lunch. Depart at the Airport with a great collection of memories.
