Day 1-2: Arrive Victoria Falls Airport & Transfer to Your Hotel
Your affordable African adventure kicks off immediately upon arrival at Victoria Falls Airport (VFA), where a dedicated transfer awaits to take you to the comfortable Bayete Guest Lodge. You’ll settle in for a two-night stay, including a delicious bed and breakfast plan.
Crucially, Day 2 is completely dedicated to exploring the magnificent Victoria Falls area. Naturally, visiting the mighty “Smoke That Thunders” is essential. However, the fun doesn’t stop there! You have a full day to choose from an exhilarating menu of optional activities ranging from scenic helicopter rides over the Falls and thrilling white-water rafting to engaging wildlife experiences like elephant interactions and various adrenaline-pumping adventures. Therefore, to maximize your time and ensure availability, we highly recommend and can easily pre-book all your desired tours and activities. You’ll conclude your action-packed day back at either the Bayete Guest Lodge or the equally charming Phezulu Guest Lodge, both providing a restful night’s sleep and breakfast.
Day 3-4: Transfer to Kasane & Chobe National Park
Subsequently, Day 3 brings a seamless transition as you are collected for your cross-border transfer to Kasane Village, the gateway to Chobe National Park. You will briefly pause to clear immigration procedures, entering the spectacular wildlife haven of Botswana. Upon arrival, you will check into your luxurious accommodation at the value-focused Chobe Safari Lodge or the cozy Chobe Bush Lodge. Immediately following lunch, you’ll embark on a breathtaking afternoon boat safari right into the heart of Chobe National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds. Your stay includes a luxury room with all meals provided (though drinks, laundry, and extras are settled locally).
Furthermore, Day 4 offers a complete immersion in Chobe’s ecosystem. You will start the day with an exciting morning game drive, actively seeking out predators and plains game. Afterwards, you’ll return to the lodge for a hearty lunch and time to relax by the pool. Finally, the day culminates with a second, distinct afternoon boat safari, ensuring you maximize your chances of spectacular wildlife sightings along the Chobe Riverfront.
Day 5-6:Morning Game Drive If Flight Time Permits, fly to Mma Dinare Camp/ Rra Dinare Camp
Depending on your flight schedule, Day 5 commences with a thrilling final morning game drive in Chobe National Park. Followed by a delicious breakfast at your lodge. Subsequently, you will be transferred to Kasane Airport for a scenic, approximately 70-minute light aircraft flight that takes you directly into the heart of the majestic Okavango Delta.
Upon landing, you will settle into the well-regarded Mma Dinare Camp or Rra Dinare Camp. These camps offer exceptional value and a full spectrum of Delta activities, including thrilling day and night game drives and traditional mokoro (canoe) safaris. Provided that flight timings allow, you will immediately join an exciting afternoon game activity. Furthermore, your stay in the Delta is fully inclusive, covering all meals and drinks, guaranteeing a seamless and immersive wilderness experience.
Day 6 is dedicated entirely to immersive activities within the Okavango Delta. Enjoy a full day maximizing your wildlife viewing with expertly guided game drives, night drives, and tranquil mokoro safaris, all operating from Mma Dinare or Rra Dinare Camp. Since your stay is all-inclusive, simply focus on soaking up the stunning scenery and spotting the Delta’s diverse inhabitants.
Day 7: Morning Activity (flight times permitting), Then Fly to Maun
Depending on your flight schedule, you should have time for one final morning game activity and breakfast before your departure. Subsequently, you’ll transfer to the airstrip for a brief, scenic 20-minute light aircraft flight to Maun.
