Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar
Your Zanzibar Island Safari Tour begins immediately upon arrival as you meet our representative at the Zanzibar Airport. After a warm greeting, we will transfer you directly to either the Tembo Hotel or the Sultan Sands Resort. The drive to Tembo Hotel, located in the capital, Stone Town, takes only about ten minutes, offering immediate views over the blue, warm waters of the Indian Ocean.
Subsequently, after checking in and enjoying a brief period of leisure, we will meet your guide and start the City Tour right after lunch. You will actively experience the city and the true culture of Zanzibar, visiting the famous House of Wonders, the Sultan Palace, the Old Museum, and the bustling Old Market, where you can shop for fresh fruits and local spices. Furthermore, you will see the historic Cathedral Church and the Old Dispensary. You will walk through the famous alleys of Zanzibar, intermingling with local people and enjoying the aroma of coffee and spices surrounding you. You can also visit the numerous shops available in Stone Town—this truly is your best day for shopping. You will enjoy dinner and stay overnight at either Tembo Hotel or Sultan Sands Resort. Day 2: Spice Island Immersion & Leisure
Following breakfast, we will drive through the scenic Zanzibar countryside straight to the spice plantations. Here, you can actively sample various types of tropical fruits, root crops, flowering trees. Plus spices, such as ginger, cardamom, lemongrass, and cinnamon. These products stand as the number one export of Zanzibar, and you will quickly discover why the island is popularly known as “The Spice Island.” You will sample the fruits found in abundance on the farms. This is also the cheapest place to buy locally made perfumes and oils. After enjoying a very special, locally prepared spice lunch right on the plantation, we will continue to Sultan Sands for afternoon leisure. Day 3: Full day of Leisure
Enjoy a full day dedicated entirely to leisure and relaxation. Day 4: Departure
