Day 1: Addo Wildlife Private Reserve Safari
Upon your arrival in Port Elizabeth (PLZ), we will pick you up and swiftly depart for Addo and your exquisite accommodation at Addo Wildlife Luxury Suites. You will arrive in the afternoon and smoothly check in around 14:00.
Private Game Drive & Bush Boma Dinner
Your first taste of the thicket veld begins with an exciting 4-hour sunset game drive. The Addo Wildlife Private Game Reserve, departing at 16:30. Our experienced safari guide will take you through the beautiful citrus orchards to our private reserve. Situated right on the banks of the Sunday River. If you are lucky, you may witness the thrilling sight of a lion hunt as you search for giraffes, plains zebra, and many antelope species such as kudu, eland, impala, and sable. Your knowledgeable guide will share fascinating facts about the unique Eastern Cape fauna and flora throughout the drive.
You will enjoy a short stop for snacks and drinks in the bush, surrounded by indigenous spekboom. Finally, you will end the day with a spectacular buffet-style meal served over open fires at our private Bush River Boma (weather and capacity-dependent), or the elegant Tangelo Restaurant.
Day 2: Addo Full Day Exploration
At around 08:00, you will set off for a thrilling full-day safari in South Africa’s third-largest national park. Prepare to witness an incredible conservation success story: proclaimed in 1931 with just 11 elephants remaining, you can now enjoy watching over 600 elephants that thrive here.
Addo Elephant National Park allows you to view these majestic African Big Five animals in their natural habitats. Alongside a diverse array of other wildlife—from the magnificent elephants to the smallest creatures, like the unique Addo dung beetle. To complete your authentic experience, a traditional South African braai lunch will be served right in the heart of the Addo Elephant National Park.
Day 3: Schotia Safari tour
Begin your final morning with a choice. You will either choose an intimate Elephant Encounter (walk) or a Giraffe Encounter (walk), guided by our experts. Next, prepare for an afternoon safari as you join our professional guides through the exclusive Schotia Safari Private Reserve, which borders the mighty Addo National Park.
