Uganda National Museum: As the oldest museum in East Africa, it provides a comprehensive overview of Uganda’s history and cultural heritage. Indeed, the museum houses a vast collection of artifacts.  Uganda National Mosque (Gaddafi National Mosque)

Buganda Royal Palace (Lubiri):

Later, visit the Buganda Royal Palace. located on Mengo Hill. This is the official residence of the Kabaka (King) of Buganda. While the main palace building has been largely abandoned since the 1966 coup, the grounds are historically significant. A major highlight is the dark, underground prison and torture chamber built by former president Idi Amin, which offers a chilling and important historical lesson.

Uganda Martyrs’ Shrine:

On this excursion, to the Uganda Martyrs’ shrine located in Namugongo, a short distance from the city center. This shrine commemorates the 32 young men who were killed for their Christian faith by King Mwanga II in the late 19th century.
