Day 1: Pick up from Kigali city to And Transfer to Bwindi National Park
Africa Safaris Tours Driver Guide will pick you up from Kigali International Airport or any Hotel in Kigali to start your safari to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. This journey is very scenic and will take you through the country of a thousand hills, Rwanda, to the Pearl of Africa, Uganda. You cross over the border to Uganda at Katuna borders and make a stop at Kabale or Kisoro town before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park for an overnight.
Accommodation: Trekkers Tavern Lodge, Rushaga, Bwindi Gorilla Havens Lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and transfer back to Kigali
This morning, after your breakfast and with your packed lunch, you will drive to the National Park offices for a briefing about the dos and don’ts while on your Gorilla tracking. After that, you will be transferred to the starting point of your Gorilla Walk.
Please note that Gorilla family allocation depends on your interests, fitness, and age, though there is no guarantee, as these Gorillas keep moving and changing locations as you walk to them.

You will have only one hour to photograph and observe mountain gorillas as they go about their daily activities. After that trek back to the National Park offices to pick up your certificates.
You will then drive back to Kigali, Rwanda. You will use the Katuna or Chanika borders. This is for your overnight in Kigali town or your international departure flight. Book flights that depart late from Kigali International Airport if you intend to fly back after your two-day Bwindi Gorilla safari through Kigali.
